Should You Turn Your AC Off When You Leave Your Home ?

If your leaving home just for the day its more efficient to keep your AC unit on but turn it a few degrees higher then what you would normally keep it on at home. However if you are leaving your place for more than a few days it would save you more money and be more efficient to just shut the system off.
